YouTube sensation Jake Paul and former UFC champion Conor McGregor are similar in many aspects. Both of them are excellent showmen and have the charisma and personality to sell their brand. This has led them to great success even beyond their respective sports.

Paul has channeled McGregor’s persona into his own frequently, copying the Irishman’s style to sell his own fights and garner hype. This was certainly the case when The Problem Child imitated McGregor’s infamous catchphrase he used to troll Jeremy Stephens. Moreover, this was aimed at none other than former kickboxer turned social media celebrity, Andrew Tate.

Paul sounds off on Top G

The Youtuber recently made an appearance on his brother, Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast where he exposed Tate and revealed that Top G once tried to contact him. He also stated that Tate was a ‘fanboy’ of his.

I just wanna say though just so I can have some peace, so he followed me until last week. He was a fanboy. Look at this it says accept message requests from Andrew Tate,” said Paul while showing the audience his phone with Tate’s message requests on it.

Co-host Mike Majlak was skeptical about this and asked Paul where the message could have been a call-out to fight. However, Paul then stated that if that were the case, he would not have unsent his message. He also claimed that he did not know who Tate was at the time.

Why would he un-send it? He unsent it but it still shows that he tried to send me a message at some point and he called me out two months ago and I remember seeing it. I would just swipe up like okay who the f*ck is this guy, like I don’t care when everyone is calling me out.” He said, quoting McGregor’s infamous line on Jeremy Stephens.

Andrew Tate Calls out Jake Paul

Although Tate has stated that he has no animosity towards Paul, he still feels like the Problem Child won’t hold up to him in the ring. The former kickboxer had already called out Paul offering  $3 million to fight him, but the Ohio-based boxer did not seem interested at the time.

According to Paul, Tate is still nowhere near the level of hype and fame that Paul has achieved. However, a match could be in the works as Paul is still left without an opponent after his bout against Hasim Rahman Jr. fell through. Moreover, at this stage in their careers, this fight would be a match made in heaven in terms of popularity.
