Deontay Wilder went public making big claims about how Tyson Fury is not the champion unless he beats Wilder for the third time. These comments seem to have rubbed many people the wrong way. Dillian Whyte has recently shared his thoughts on the same in a recent interview with iFL TV.

Although technically, Fury has only beaten Wilder once, many (including Dillian Whyte ) feel Fury deserved the win in their first matchup as well. Whyte feels that Wilder does not deserve a third fight because he has already lost to Fury twice.

“Fury won the first fight, and they gave him a draw. Fury knocked him out the second time. What more can he say? They had two fights. And he [Wilder] lost both fights, in my opinion. I’m just stating facts. I’m not the biggest fan of Tyson Fury. Facts are facts. Deontay Wilder got his a** handed to him twice.” says Whyte as he takes a strong stance against Wilder.

Dillian Whyte believes that Wilder has been acting like a sore loser. In addition, The Body Snatcher calls Wilder out for making silly excuses.

Whyte has a lot to say about Wilder, “The guy just needs to go away. Be a man. All heavyweights lose. And all heavyweights get knocked out. If you fight good heavyweights, you’ll get knocked down. We’ve seen it before. Every single one of us has been on the floor. He [Wilder] needs to grow up and stop talking s***. He got beat up.”

In addition to all this, Whyte adds that he wants Wilder out of the way so that he can challenge Fury for the title. Whyte is looking to make a lot of money, as the WBC mandatory, when he eventually challenges for the belt.

However, Whyte may be in for a long wait, considering the current state the world is in. With the combination of Coronavirus and Fury taking on IBF/WBA/WBO champion Anthony Joshua twice in 2021, Whyte may be looking at a 2022 fight at the earliest.

While in conversation with iFL TV, Whyte has made rather bold comments against Wilder. Fury is under contract to fight Wilder for the third time. Even though Fury himself may be unwilling to take on the Bronze Bomber yet again, the fact remains that he is bound to it.

As professional athletes, one must learn how to compromise. Not everything can go the way you want. It seems like Whyte, along with Wilder, needs to grow up and face the music.

It would benefit Lancashire man to stop obsessing about a fight with Fury and focus on his upcoming fight with Alexander Povetkin.
