Ryan Garcia lashes out at Stevenson
Garcia and Stevenson were training partners back in their amateur days. Post his victory against Duarte, ‘KingRy,’ revealed there was always a certain level of resentment between them since the commencement of their career. Moreover, he welcomed a bout against, ‘Sugar,’ and is confident in his abilities to defeat him. This confidence stems from the fact that he believes the 3-division world champion to be a timid fighter.
He stated, “He is just been a hater since the amateurs, for real, and I want to fight him, I would beat his ass. I promise you that. I have been in the ring with them, he is cool but he is scared all the time. In a pro fight, it is not going to work.”
