Former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has received several backlashes from the entire boxing community following his justifications for the title loss against Tyson Fury in February.
Wilder has accused several people of his loss, with numerous explanations, and none of them has been credible for the fans. Initially, Wilder blamed his overweight walkout costume for hampering his legs. After that, he has blamed his long-time trainer Mark Breland of being a double agent and has also accused Tyson Fury of changing his boxing gloves.
It didn’t stop there, since Wilder has claimed that his water spiked before the fight.

That said, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ is still far away from his accepting his defeat. Meanwhile, he had to face another criticism, as super welterweight boxer Macaulay McGowan has also slammed him for his comments.
The 25-year-old has recently connected with Behind The Gloves to discuss several things. While he was asked to shed his opinion on Deontay Wilder‘s comments, McGowan shook everyone with his response.
Billing his honest opinion, McGowan said, “I didn’t know if it was just accusations but I think he started coming gout with bizarre things and everyone is like always back on the crack pipe or whatever but this stuff that’s coming out from Deontay Wilder is up there and I am thinking- Is he like getting at it and then just sitting on Twitter thinking what shall I put or what shall I say, like it’s bizarre like there’s no truth in it what so ever and I am just like it’s not even a fraction of where you could go.”
He added, “Oh yeah, I get it from that angle, but nothing right. It’s totally bizarre thinking. So I come to the conclusion that he is on crack.”
Deontay Wilder is ready to face Tyson Fury
While fans continue to bash the former champion, Wilder seems ready for the trilogy fight against Fury. He recently took to Twitter and asked Fury to accept the fight.

It appeared as if Fury is the one to duck Wilder. However, the heavyweight matchup is still relevant with both the boxers desiring to lock horns. If not for this year, Wilder and Fury can still fight by early 2021.
Meanwhile, it seems that Fury will return to action against Agit Kabayel this year, while Wilder will remain inactive till 2021. Amid all the speculations, it’s still unfair to rule out Wilder from the mix. He is an elite knockout artist who can regain momentum at any time.
