Bulgarian Heavyweight boxer Kubrat Pulev has expressed his frustration over a potential fight date to face Anthony Joshua.
Eddie Hearn revealed that December 5th is the most likely date.

However, nothing is official. The fight was set for the summer, but the pandemic, as well as lockdown restrictions, have pushed back the fight to later this year.

Kubrat Pulev fires back at Anthony Joshua

Also, Pulev called out Anthony Joshua for delaying negotiations for choosing an appropriate date for both fighters.

“We have one heavyweight champion in Anthony Joshua and he is too slow all the time to agree on a date. We understand the world pandemic and everything but I think we can fight this year. I prepare to do this. It does not matter where or which day. I’m ready. We are training and I wait for the date. December 5th is what we’ve heard,” said Pulev.

Several reasons have caused this delay. The main reason being lockdown restrictions as well as deciding whether a crowd can attend. Joshua is a very popular figure, however by the looks of it it’s highly unlikely fans will be able to attend.

Also, Joshua suffered a minor knee injury in between. But, AJ revealed he has completely recovered and is back in training.
Kubrat Pulev is entering the fight as the underdog. However, the veteran is confident of causing a major upset.

Joshua has suffered a shock defeat in the past when he lost to Andy Ruiz Jr. AJ was quick to avenge his loss by defeating Ruiz in the rematch.
