UFC 270 is going to witness probably the biggest fight of the Heavyweight division in the main event on Saturday. The undefeated Ciryl Gane is going to face the ruling UFC heavyweight Francis Ngannou at the Honda Center in California. Prior to this high-profile event, one of the greatest heavyweight stalwarts, Mike Tyson praised Ciryl Gane’s victory against American mixed martial artist Derrick Lewis.

‘Iron Mike’ crashed the podcast with Dana White and The NELKBOYS. Though he had never been part of UFC, his opinion matters a lot. He applauded Gane on Dana White’s question. According to “The Baddest Man on the Planet”, Gane, who weighs 247lbs, is quick and powerful. He described his jab as hell and called him a smart heavyweight.

Mike Tyson said on the podcast, “I have just saw, I never knew about the guy Ciryl and then I saw him fight Derek man these two, he just broke him down so wow you know me he is actively smart, had hell of a jab, how much does he weigh 247lbs. he is fast, too powerful. I heard they sparred before.”

Ciryl Gane tore apart Derrick Lewis

The interim heavyweight Champion Ciryl Gane knockdown Lewis in a one-sided bout at UFC 265. He is an absolute beast who moves like a middleweight. Calmly, he molded the fight in his favor with great technique and agility. He mixed up his striking with a lot of Muay Thai and resisted Derrick’s grapples with a wide stance and long-range jab.

In the third round, he landed a vicious uppercut followed by a knee and kick on the right chin, that succumbed Lewis to Gane’s blows. Lewis fought back with the lead leg but could not create any difference as Gane chewed up all smoothly. Every time Lewis flurried towards Gane, the latter stifled his timing with perfect fundamentals.
