At the premiere of his latest film, Emancipation, famous Hollywood Actor, Will Smith conveyed a very nice thing about boxing champion Floyd Mayweather. Recently in a video posted by TMZ Sports, Smith was seen pointing at Mayweather and overwhelmingly said that after the famous slapping event happened on the stage at the Oscars, it was Mayweather who called him every day for ten days, to help him cope with negativity at the time.

Smith interrupted the host and told everyone that although they were not ‘so-called’ friends, it helped him a lot to get out of there. But fans are not taking it that way and they trolled Mayweather for this act. Or is it a trick by Mayweather to change his perception of fans?

Will Smith spoke to Floyd Mayweather for 10 days after the Oscars slap 

Before getting into the matter let’s have a recap of the famous incident. On a star-studded evening of Oscars, the host and comedian Chris Rock made some sarcastic remarks about Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett, which disturbed Will Smith. And all of a sudden, Smith went up to the stage and gave a tight slap to the comedian.

After this notorious incident, people started trolling and criticizing Will Smith for his conduct. They also raised several questions and asked for an apology. Although Smith apologised publicly, trolls and negativity were not leaving him. In the darkest phase of his life, Mayweather supported him a lot. Smith said that they were not such good friends, but Mayweather called him regularly for ten days, which helped a lot to overcome the situation.

“I want to say something also about Floyd. So, we’ve met each other, we’ve seen each other around, but we weren’t like friends. And, the day after the Oscars, for ten days he called me every day.
