Jake Paul has offered an interesting bet to 5X UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley ahead of their upcoming boxing scrap on August 28th.

The 24-year-old seems confident about beating ‘T-Wood’ and has offered to pay double the purse, on failing to win. However, Paul has also claimed to take away the entire fight purse from Woodley for charity, if he gets to beat the MMA veteran.

Meanwhile ‘The Chosen One’ has reportedly rejected the offer without lacking any confidence within himself. But Jake Paul has claimed to find Tyron Woodley insecure and has lashed out at him for opposing the bet.

In a chat with FightHype.con, ‘The Problem Child’ said, “This is the biggest fight of his career and I gave it to him, you know. He should be thanking me.

“This is the biggest payday, otherwise, he would have been just cut by the UFC and just left on the sidelines. Honestly, he should be thanking me, but it is what it is. You want to take the bet, you all saw it. You all got it on camera.

“I said I’ll pay you double your purse if you beat me. But if you lose, you will have to pay your purse to my charity. He lacks confidence, I mean why wouldn’t you take that as a fighter, if you knew, you are gonna win.”

While Jake Paul is already 3-0 as a professional boxer, Woodley will make his boxing debut against the YouTube sensation. That said, Paul hasn’t faced any pro-pugilist and Woodley will be his toughest opposition by now. So, it wouldn’t be an undemanding task to vanquish Tyron Woodley.

Tyron Woodley vs Jake Paul- Preview

Woodley parted ways with UFC after suffering the fourth consecutive loss of his fighting career. But he was on a tear before that. The American champion appeared invincible on his rise to the top and reigned over the 170 lbs division for a long time.

He is an elite striker and even on his losing tide in the UFC; he showcased prominent punching ability. So, he can rightly trouble Jake Paul in a boxing fight.
