There is one matchup that both the boxing fraternity and social media users are equally anticipating. The showdown between YouTuber turned boxing sensation, Jake Paul, and his longtime nemesis, Tommy Fury. The fight was initially scheduled to happen in both 2021 and 2022, but the fight did not materialize due to Fury facing a myriad of issues. However, it can be said that Fury’s latest post has instilled hope in Paul of the fight finally taking place. Moreover, Paul took to social media to announce his excitement.

Paul was initially unsure of the fight potentially taking place. He even addressed it after the presser of his fight against Anderson Silva, saying, “I’m still skeptical about it. My brother tells me every day. And my dad calls me every day damn near and is like, ‘Don’t give that f*cker another chance. So I don’t know. We might not.”

Fury recently posted a picture on Instagram revealing that he is heading to Saudi Arabia. And nobody was more excited than his upcoming opponent, Paul. In fact, he even reshared it as a story and mentioned that he was happy that Fury was going to show up.

It can be said that fans were intrigued by the prospect of the fight finally taking place. In fact, they took to social media to share their thoughts on Paul’s statement.
