“He Seems Like He Lives in the Gym and Lives Only Boxing”: Fans in Frenzy After Photo of Canelo Alvarez Lifting Double His Own Bodyweight Takes the Internet by Storm

Canelo Alvarez, the undisputed super middleweight champion, is an exceptional fighter. Watching him compete is pleasing to the eyes of many boxing purists. He manages to be an aggressive fighter while showcasing his defensive acumen. He is set to make his return to the ring after more than 7 months. He will take on John Ryder on May 6th in Guadalajara, Mexico. 

Alvarez does not shy away from showcasing his training set-up. As a professional fighter, he spends most of his time in the gym and working out. His training regime includes pad work, sparring, cardio, and strength and conditioning amongst other things. Recently, he showcased his strength which left fans in frenzy.

@Boxing: Only Full Fights on Facebook made a post showcasing how strong Alvarez truly is. In the post, the caption stated, “Canelo lifting over DOUBLE his own body weight! 170kg (375lbs)”
The fans were left impressed witnessing this. Here are a few interesting fan reactions:
One fan wants Alvarez to simply call it a day. @Trey Stewart: “I cant wait til he retires. As a fan I just want to see him enjoy life. He seems like he lives in the gym and lives only boxing. That’s gotta be so stressful”
Another fan showed his support. @Stephan Swanson: “Let’s go fellow Cinnamon brother”
While, on the contrary, one fan name @Robbie Matthews had some allegations. He stated, “Definitely on the Egg,s lol”
