Marvin Hagler is arguably one of the greatest middleweight boxers of all time. His boxing record of 63-3-2 speaks for itself. Hagler fought Hamani on February 16, 1980. During which he pounded Hamani with a spectacular combination at the ropes and knocked him out of the ring in the second round of the fight.

Fans to this day are in awe of the legendary boxer’s talent and skill. Some fans rightfully remember him by his nickname “Marvelous Marvin.”

Hagler’s long reign in the middleweight division came to an end when he faced Olympic gold medalist, Sugar Ray Leonard, who defeated Hagler in a controversial decision. Consequently, Hagler couldn’t bear the defeat and retired from boxing immediately.
