‘He Was Reacting To Being Abused’: Johnny Nelson Supports Anthony Joshua For Loughborough University Incident

Anthony Joshua, the British boxing champion, recently had an unsettling incident on the Loughborough University campus. People frequently target celebrities for no apparent reason, causing trauma for some. A similar incident occurred, and this is what boxing commentator Johnny Nelson had to say about it.
While talking to iFL TV, Nelson was asked about Joshua’s incident. He was asked about the video circulating, and what did he think about Joshua confronting the students.

Nelson said, “Anthony Joshua’s getting stick because he is Anthony Joshua. But in reality, you know he was reacting to being abused. Simple as that. So you do it, you’re gonna get it back. You’d do it, anybody could do it. So why is it a problem If Anthony Joshua does it? That’s why I don’t care.”

Apparently, AJ was teased by some drunk university students while he was walking past their building. The students attacked him by accusing him of refusing to fight Tyson Fury on purpose. Following this, AJ went down to their apartment and taught them a lesson.
What is next for Anthony Joshua?
Joshua, the two-time unified world heavyweight champion, has wowed the world with his incredible performances. But his loss to Oleksandr Usyk was one of the biggest upsets of his career. In September, the two boxers faced off in the ring at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Surprisingly, in this grueling bout, AJ lost his titles.

The rivalry isn’t over yet. Following AJ’s defeat, it was clear that a sequel was required. As a result, Joshua (24-2-0) and Usyk (19-0-0) will fight again in July. However, there is speculation that the fight may be postponed.
