The British heavyweight boxer Joe Joyce claimed another knockout win to maintain his unbeaten record. With this victory, the 36-year-old champ has improved his record to 14-0 and became a mandatory challenger for the WBO world title.

After thrashing the German pugilist Christian Hammer at Wembley Arena, Joyce talked to media personnel and made some big and bold claims.

His promoter shared a clip of Joyce’s post-fight talk. Joyce claimed, “Yeah, I believe so. With the right training camp and I’m there at the top level, so it’s just a matter of time. I’m ready and waiting.”

Interestingly, with this 4th round stoppage win, Joyce has convinced himself that he has reached the top level where boxing champs like Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, and Oleksandr Usyk are standing.

Moreover, Joyce announced that he was waiting for the winner of the rematch between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk. The winner of this bout will hold unified WBO, IBF, and WBA (Super) heavyweight titles.

However, fans did not believe that Joyce is ready for the world title contest, as they trolled him.

Another fan provided what seemed like constructive criticism. He wrote, “Unfortunately your not ready yet, you definitely need to fight some older, shrewder fighters first. It will come to you, if you continue on the right path. Don’t run before you can walk.”

Joyce’s head movement was compared with renowned scientist Stephen Hawking, by another fan.

Daniel Anthony believed that Joyce would be dismantled by Tyson Fury if he locked horns with him.

These were a few fans who did not consider Joyce worthy of taking a shot against top-heavyweight fighters.
