However, the former record holder indicated that he would not accept the record. This is because it was set in a home gym.

The comments have not gone down well with ‘The Mountain.’ Immediately after his record-breaking deadlift, he said, “Core Sports has just offered me a seven-figure contract. Eddie Hall has been running his mouth now for weeks and I know he got the same deal. So: Eddie, I just knocked out your record and now I’m ready to knock you out in the ring.”

Initially, fans must have assumed it was adrenaline and blowing off steam that provoked these words. However, ‘The Beast’ responded on Instagram.

Eddie Hall accepts ‘The Mountain’s Boxing challenge

“I’ve signed the papers and it’s “OFFICIALLY” on. Thanks to Core Sports World for the opportunity!”

“That’s done, it’s locked in, there’s no backing out. So, Thor, are you happy, has your dream come true? You finally get to go up against the guy who bested you at World’s Strongest Man 2017, the man you called a cheat.”

“I’m happy, I get to make a load of money and step in the ring with you and do business. I hope you’re happy being the “home gym hero” right now, everyone knows full well you haven’t got the b***s to step into a competition and replicate what I did.”

“World’s Strongest Man 2017, I trained for that like no other man did. I came and dominated that competition and am going to do the same for the fight. “I’m going to swim out to those dark waters, and I want you to come with me. I’m gonna keep swimming, I don’t give a f**k anymore, I’m not turning back, and you will, because you’re a p**sy.”

It all ends in the ring and that’s where I’m going to teach you a f**king lesson.”

These are certainly strong words and showcase ‘The Beast’s intentions. However, ‘The Mountain’ is not one to back down and vowed to dedicate the next year and a half to this boxing match.
