Jones Jr. did not include any fighters from lower-weight divisions. He gave the first spot to Fury, who fought only once in this entire year. This did not sit well with fans and they criticized Jones Jr’s list.

The former four-weight division champ hung up his gloves in 2018 after a long career of over two decades. However, he laced gloves in 2020 again to meet the former two-time heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, in a highly anticipated exhibition.

Another fan wrote, “How can fury be pound for pound when he outweighs his opponents by 40 pounds?? I’m not sure most of these fanboys and journalist know the definition of what that is.”

Another fan wrote, “Roy Jones Jr. is a drug cheat, so it’s only natural he picks a fellow drug cheat for number 1.”

Another fan wrote, “I like it except Crawford shouldn’t be there and instead, I would put Canelo or little Charlo.”
