Tabares revealed Dillian Whyte is training harder than ever, with a potential title fight on the horizon for the interim champion.
Dillian Whyte is the fittest he’s ever been in his career
“He’s a very strong man and he’s done years of training. What we did when we came in, was just look at his strength but more importantly his weaknesses, and try to bring up the weaknesses all the way up to a level that we’re happy with for the first camp, that we’re working together, and then moving forward we’ll look to increase that obviously and turn him into a more athletic fighter” said Ruben Tabares to SkySports
Dillian Whyte is inching towards a title shot against Tyson Fury. However, this depends on whether he can get past a highly experienced Alexander Povetkin.

Whyte is Tyson Fury’s mandatory challenger for the heavyweight title. However, there have been talks of Whyte’s title shot being delayed due to Fury’s fight commitments.
Eddie Hearn revealed that Dillian Whyte will get a fight against Anthony Joshua if Tyson Fury turns down the fight.
However, it’s unlikely that this might happen as there have been talks of crowning Fury as the franchise champion. This would allow Tyson Fury to turn down any mandatory bout, similar to Canelo Alvarez.
