Paris Fury had a lot to say about Anthony Joshua during their interview with ThisMorning. Anthony Joshua is currently the IBF, WBO and IBO title holder a feat that previously belonged to ‘’The Gypsy King’’. Tyson Fury had to vacate the title due to mental health reasons and with the unification bout imminent the comments made were interesting.

Speaking to Philip Schofield, Paris Fury said:
‘He’s just keeping them warm. How can you claim to be the champion when you haven’t beaten the champion?’’

Tyson Fury ”Stripped” off titles?

Paris Fury is referencing to the scandal which saw Fury stripped of his titles. He was given a week to decide his next fight and given his mental health conditions he was forced to ‘’vacate’’.

Now that ‘’The Gypsy King’’ is back he surely poses the greatest threat to Joshua. His win over Deontay Wilder proved that Fury can dominate even the very best. His technique is second to none hence why he’s unbeaten.

Tyson Fury is set to face Deontay Wilder for the trilogy this summer, speaking about the fight he said:
‘’I beat him the first time and I beat him the second time and I will surely beat him the third time. He’s a very worthy opponent. He’s a very dangerous opponent and he has the eraser knockout. You’re only one mistake away from disaster, you have to be switched on for all 12 rounds.’’

Gypsy King to Retire?

Deontay Wilder is notorious for his eraser power and despite his sluggish performance, he can’t be written off. Anthony Joshua will face Kubrat Pulev this June with a win potentially setting him up for a unification bout later this year.

Paris Fury wants Tyson to retire after fighting Joshua and this makes sense given that he has only 2 fights left on his contract.
