Anthony Joshua, one of the most formidable heavyweights in the boxing business, is apparently no threat to Tyson Fury. To Fury, Deontay Wilder poses a bigger threat compared to the Olympic gold medallist.

Fury, early this year, took on the Bronze Bomber in a rematch following their initial fight in 2018. Fury went on to dominate Wilder in their most recent fight, grabbing the WBC Heavyweight title in the process.

Overshadowing Wilder with his superior fight IQ and skills, Fury forced Wilder’s long-time trainer Mark Breland to throw in the towel in the 7th round.

However, the desire to set up a unification bout between Fuy and Joshua have sparked a dialogue between their representatives.

Tentative talks regarding the location have been taking place. Both Eddie Hearn and Bob Arum have been trying to downplay the extent of the talks. However, they concede that the Middle East will be bidding to host the fight.

Fury and Joshua are on the road to take part in one of the biggest boxing events in British history. With all four heavyweight titles on the line as well as the Ring Magazine and Lineal titles, it truly is the biggest event ever to take place.

However, Fury is not worried about the result.“100 percent, Joshua’s not dangerous, at all. He’s like a big cuddly baby. “He doesn’t have anything. He couldn’t hold a candle to The Gypsy King,” Fury told ESPN.

“There’s only one undefeated world champion. They’ve all fallen by the wayside, the fellow that hasn’t gotten beat has knocked them out! I’m the only one! Me the unbeatable, the untouchable, unbreakable champion,” said Tyson Fury talking highly of himself as an undefeated champion should.

Tyson Fury Recalls Joshua’s Fight with Andy Ruiz Jr

Andy Ruiz Jr. represents the only blemish on AJ’s otherwise spotless career. In addition, people call AJ out for the only loss of his career more frequently than he would prefer.

“Why would I be a believer when he got knocked spark out by Andy Ruiz? A last-minute replacement opponent who turned up 300 pounds or whatever it is. He didn’t train. And Anthony Joshua couldn’t do any good with him in the rematch,” said Fury while explaining why AJ is not a real threat to him.

Many have criticized AJ for his performance against an overweight Andy Ruiz. However, AJ managed to vindicate himself in the rematch that came up almost immediately after his loss.

However, setting up a fight between Fury and Joshua is more complicated than it seems. Following his loss, Wilder exercised his right to a rematch with Tyson Fury. And Joshua is looking to take on Kubrat Pulev.
