Both Tyson and Floyd Mayweather have had stints in the WWE. However, Iron Mike earned significantly more than his fellow boxer for his run. Meltzer also revealed that Tyson earned $3.5 million for his run in 1998, beating Mayweather by $1.5 million. The main reason for this was Tyson’s mainstream appeal during the 90s, which led the company to pay top dollar for the former heavyweight champ.
