Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury ruled the heavyweight scene for a brief period until Joshua suffered his second pro-defeat against Usyk in September. The loss ended the hopes for an All-English clash between him and Fury. However, the alluring matchup is still on people’s minds.

Following Joshua’s loss, several people chimed in and threw shade on the former champion. While Tyson Fury was expected to do the same, he offered to assist Joshua at the gym. ‘The Gypsy King’ claimed he can assure Anthony Joshua’s win over Usyk in the rematch if AJ ropes him in for the training.

Meanwhile, Anthony Joshua has passed a green signal to the idea. In a lengthy chat with Kugan Cassius of iFL TV, ‘AJ’ responded to Fury’s offer.

Going against a southpaw master-mind, Joshua tried to outbox Usyk. It didn’t sit well as the Ukrainian star landed in constant jabs. Being an elite KO-artist, Anthony Joshua should have rushed for a stoppage. However, he wasn’t able to keep up with the Ukrainian’s sharp and swift movements. As the rounds went by, Usyk became even sharper and Joshua looked bleak.

The British boxer tried to regroup. However, he had absorbed a lot of damage at that time. Following the 12-rounds war, Joshua seemed exhausted. Despite giving his all, he lost the fight via decision in what came as an absolute shock.
