The five-weight division champ Floyd Mayweather is officially retired from the sport, but his love for boxing took him inside the ring again and again. The last he fought was against social media personality, Logan Paul, on June 6, 2021.

Interestingly, after a layoff, the undefeated stalwart is again stepping inside the ring. There was a certainty that ‘The Best Ever’ will lace gloves for an exhibition bout in Dubai, but until now, the venue and the opponent remained uncertain.
TMZ Sports announced and Michael Benson of talkSports.com too reported it on Twitter.

He wrote, “Floyd Mayweather will return to the ring for an eight-round exhibition fight against Don Moore on May 14th at the helipad on top of the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, UAE. It’s being reported that the undercard will feature Anderson Silva and Badou Jack.”

However, as soon as it surfaced on Twitter, fans created a buzz on social media platforms. They fired back on Mayweather for taking a shot against an opponent who is not even close to his boxing prowess.
