‘He’s Only This Big’: Mike Tyson Only Recalls Jordan Belfort’s Height From Their Meeting and He Can’t Stop Laughing at the ‘Wolf of Wall Street’

Mike Tyson goes off on the height of Jordan Belfort, the real man behind the critically acclaimed Scorsese’s ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’. In an episode of Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson with guest Bill Bellamy, Tyson started talking about his pet tigers, and how brutal those animals can be, and then his team pulled up a brutal video of such an incident. And all three men, Mike Tyson, Bill Bellamy, and DJ Whoo Kid, had their eyes glued to the video, in fascination.

When the video ended, Bellamy leaned backward on the couch and told everybody to focus on the podcast again. Mike Tyson hilariously shouted, “Wall Street Journal”, which completely changed the subject of the ongoing conversation.

Tyson certainly loves films and also loves talking about them. His love for cinema becomes quite evident with his cameos and small appearances in a bunch of movies, like Rocky Balboa (2006), Ip Man 3, and The Hangover Trilogy. And in his recent podcast episode, Mike Tyson expressed how much he enjoyed watching ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’.

Mike Tyson Talks About the Time He Met Jordan Belfort

Mike Tyson is a retired American boxer. He is one of the greatest heavyweights of all time. He began his professional career in 1985, at the age of 20. In 1986, he became the youngest heavyweight champion in history, and he successfully defended his title several times before losing it to Buster Douglas in 1990. However, Tyson claimed that he’d have won over Douglas if he hadn’t ‘hit all the maids’ from his hotel.

While, on a completely different spectrum, Jordan Belfort is an American author, motivational speaker, and former stockbroker. Belfort made a fortune through his firm, Stratton Oakmont, which engaged in securities fraud and manipulation. He was sentenced to four years in prison and ordered to pay restitution to his victims. He served 22 months in prison.

Mike Tyson recalls his meeting with Jordan Belfort, but the boxing legend could not remember anything besides the height of the ‘Wolf’. He just knew his infamous identity as when asked by Bill Bellamy, who did Tyson meet in Saudi Arabia, he only said, “uhm, f**k**g the Wolf of Wall Street.” He couldn’t even recollect the real name of Belfort unless he was told by a person behind the camera.

Then he went on to talk about the next thing he recalled from that meeting and that is the height of Jordan Belfort. And with regard to that, Tyson said, “yeah, what was his name? Man listen, I was hanging out with this little guy, he’s only this big, right?” He kept his hand, even below his shoulders while sitting on a sofa. When he said, “this big”, it was to show Jordan Belfort’s short appearance.

Tyson Couldn’t Control His Laughter Talking About ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’

‘Iron’ Mike could not hold himself back when talking about the yacht sinking scene in ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’. Tyson laughed hysterically when he talked about Belfort screaming, “I will not die sober!” as when their yacht gets stuck in a sea storm, and he asks his friend to get him the ludes (quaaludes).

Tyson recalled, “Uh I’m saying listen, did you see the part where he’s in a boat… you didn’t see it, did you? these motherf***ers I’m not gonna die sober the guy keep getting shocked, Johan Hill kept getting shocked trying to get the quaaludes and sh*t.” And after making this statement, Mike Tyson laughed hysterically.

From his small role in The Hangover trilogy, everybody knows well about Mike Tyson’s great sense of humor. And in this part of the podcast, Tyson again displayed his love for good comedy. And nobody can deny that the scene Tyson talked about is actually funny.
