What does Gervonta Davis think about Jake Paul?

The Internet sensation and YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has taken the world by surprise with his incredible rise. Davis like many boxing purists was skeptical of ‘The Problem Child’.

Tank stated that initially, he wasn’t a fan of Jake Paul’s way of playing the boxing industry. He stated that Paul came in and was just calling people out. Davis believed he was doing it for the hype.

However, the 27-year-old followed his criticism with a token of appreciation. Davis added, “I feel as though he’s still a clown because that’s his personality, but as far as him continuing in the gym, like, I’m starting to respect it because he’s not doing it like for the hype he’s already like trying to be a boxer”

In Jake Paul’s short pro career, he remains undefeated with a record of 5-0 following his deadly knockout of Tyrone Woodley.

Does Tank think Jake Paul is good?

As Jake Paul has turned haters into fans, Davis acknowledged that Paul is a “good fighter” and “he can hit” referring to his four knockouts. Even though the Ohio-born fighter has a spotless win record, in Tank’s eyes, he hasn’t fought an actual boxer.

He claims, “Once he faced another boxer then, it don’t have to be somebody that’s crazy like skilled or not just face another boxer you know I mean, just face somebody probably like 2-0, 3-0 then we will see.”

According to Davis, that will be the real test for the legitimacy of ‘The Problem Child’.
