The Fictional character ‘Rocky’ created and played by Sylvester Stallone, gave movie fans eight straight installments. The classical American sports drama kept fans entertained for decades and to date whenever the name Rocky pops up it brings back the same excitement. This sometimes leads us to think about what would have been the buzz of the movie when they were screening in the cinemas for the first time in the 20th century. Because recently the poster of one of the installments came up on social media, and it electrified the internet. Fans took an active part to describe what they felt regarding this post.
An entertainment Website shared Rocky IV’s poster which is widely considered by many fans the best movie from the ‘Rocky’ franchise. As per Forbes, the movie which hit the theatres in 1985, was a massive success, making over $300 million in box office collections all over the world. The sequel of Rocky III brought to the table a totally new script. Fans were expecting something different from Sylvester Stallone and the latter did not disappoint them. Following the end of the epic rivalry with Apollo Creed, Stallone introduced a very sensitive subject in the movie.

He came up with a new fictional character ‘Ivan Drago’, an Olympic gold medalist-turned-professional fighter. The intriguing aspect was that Drago represents the Soviet Union. It attached the emotion of Nationalism, especially during the Cold War era. This made the movie a bigger hit. Dolph Lundgren, the legendary action hero who played the iconic character of Drago, role certainly made justice to the character.
Fans couldn’t keep calm as they saw the poster, and called it out as the best installment in the franchise.

In the poster posted on the Facebook page by the name, El cuarto de los recuerdos, one fan wrote, “This is considered the best of all Rocky films, in which Stallone faces the toughest of his rivals Ivan Drago, the Russian Dolph Lundgren who had just killed his friend Apollo Creed Carl Weathers, a great story.”
