Almost every boxing fan was glued to their screens when Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano collided at the AT&T Stadium on November 15. Over 50 million households streamed the fight while 70,000 fans filled the arena, as Taylor won the bout via a controversial unanimous decision.

The two champions put on a clinic of a display together and The Bray Bomber emerged victorious again in the process, retaining her undisputed super lightweight title. Stars from different walks of life watched the fight alongside core boxing fans as these two boxers ripped each other apart inside the ring. A few days after the fight, Hollywood star Charlize Theron became the center of the conversation when Most Valuable Promotions released her picture alongside challenger Amanda Serrano.

Amanda Serrano’s atomic bonding

MVP posted a picture of Amanda Serrano alongside Charlize Theron from her dressing room ahead of the big fight. The Real Deal was gearing up for the fight as the taping on her wrist was visible and she was yet to put on her gloves.

MVP captioned the picture, “Atomic Blonde x The Real Deal. Amanda Serrano & Charlize Theron,” reflecting on the unlikely pair in the image. Theron has a passion for combat sports and sometimes even selects her roles based on it. For her role in ‘Atomic Blonde’, the actress underwent six weeks of rigorous martial arts training.

Charlize Theron has previously revealed in an interview with Conan O’Brien that she is “completely, completely, and utterly obsessed” with the UFC. “I think it’s such an incredible sport. These guys are such incredible athletes.” So, there was no chance that she would miss such a historic women’s combat event.

The actress herself posted several pictures from the event with Katie Taylor, Amanda Serrano, and other personalities present there. This surprising collaboration amazed boxing fans and they showered the two stars with love. 

Charlize Theron’s towering height has left fans astonished

One fan wrote, “Wow she looks tall,” commenting on the height difference between Serrano and Theron. The actress is 5’10” feet tall. On the other hand, Amanda Serrano is a natural featherweight at 5’5″ which makes their height difference quite evident. Also, there is a very real chance that Theron was wearing heels, which added a couple more inches.

However, this is not the first time that Theron has shocked the fans with her height this week. The album she posted from the event included a picture with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal and fans were surprised to see Theron crossing the shoulders of the 7’1″ feet center.

TV personality and amateur boxer Janette Ewen wrote, “[4x heart emojis],” showing all her love and support for this new pair. The match impressed Theron, as she termed Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano as “bada*s ladies.”

Another fan wrote, “So cool,” describing the people in the picture. There is no doubt that both Amanda Serrano and Charlize Theron are two of the most accomplished women in the world. While ‘The Real Deal’ has won championships in seven different weight divisions. On the other hand, Theron has appeared in more than 50 movies and has an Academy Award to her name. So calling these two cools won’t be wrong.

One fan was clearly not over the controversial decision loss and thought that the Puerto Rican should have won. He termed Amanda Serrano as the greatest female boxer and wrote, “The best boxer one day you will have your prize because you were winner and that bio God and the whole world and you take that winner belt even if they stole it God will bless you great mind, ” stating that the opportunity to get her rightful titles back will come back soon.

Another fan, dissatisfied with the decision, wrote, “She should have won 😰.” While Taylor won the fight, the match was extremely close and could have gone in any direction. Most of the fans and experts had Serrano as the winner in their books, but all three judges scored the fight 95-94 in favor of The Bray Bomber. With this, Katie Taylor is only the third boxer to not lose against Serrano and only the first who has won twice.

However, the 47-3-1 boxer will have the chance to defeat Katie Taylor in their possible third match. The boxers have already agreed to a trilogy and the only thing left is to put the pen to paper.
