What happened between Mike Tyson and the reporter that led to this?
In an interview with CNN before his fight with Francois Botha, ‘The Baddest Man on Planet’ appeared to be rude to the interviewer. It started with the journalist’s question. He asked, “Mike, Francois Botha, six to-one Underdog, are there any concerns on your part?”
To which Tyson replied, “I don’t know anything about that. I don’t know nothing about numbers. I just know what I can do. how about kill this motherf**ker.”

In a similar tone, Tyson kept on replying to the host. First, the interviewer called it out. He simply asked, “Mike, why do you have to talk like that?”

This made Tyson more angry. He said, “Well, I’m talking to you the way I want to talk to you. Do you have a problem turn off your station?” As ‘Iron Mike’ was in no mood to dial down his tone, the interviewer took his leave.
At that time, Tyson vs Botha was a huge event, and it was customary for the boxing legend to create such type of chaos in his pre-fight interviews. In the fight, Tyson did what he was expected to do. He went out with an intimidating stance and knocked out Botha in the fifth round.
