The settlement was finalized for USD 14 million. But, Tyson was not too happy with this amount. This ongoing beef even led to an infamous altercation between the two during a car journey through West Palm Beach in Florida.
Tyson later went on to hilariously claim that he beat King because he loved him.
The duo saw each other again at the Boxing Hall Of Fame Induction Weekend in Canastota, NY in 2018. King proceeded to walk on stage and tap Tyson on the shoulder, in hopes of exchanging pleasantries. However, he was met with a cold reaction from Tyson, who also went on to throw a glass of water at his face.
Talking about the incident, Tyson said he did so because King and himself weren’t ‘friends’.
