During the London Press conference of Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou, His Excellency Turki Alalshikh expressed that although he considered Ngannou his brother, he wanted someone to stop ‘The Predator’ in the ring. At this, as Ngannou advised Alalshikh to “keep looking“, the latter disclosed his faith in Joshua’s abilities. In addition, he promised to connect the outcome of Joshua vs. Ngannou with the upcoming Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk.

You will see the result of this match, it will connect with the result of the 17th of February. This is our idea,” announced Alalshikh with the fighters and the promoter listening to him eagerly. “Two cards I want to do in [20]24 and I want to see it. The first card is Frank against Eddie. Each one of them will choose five fighters and do a night against each other. And in the end, I want to show Joshua and Ngannou what’s waiting for them after the result,” he added.

At this, as soon as the new Undisputed Heavyweight belt was unveiled on the screen, His Excellency Turki Alalshikh declared the winner of Uysk vs. Fury would face the winner of Joshua vs. Ngannou scheduled for March 8th. “This is what will wait for them after the result of the fight on the 8th of March,” Alalshikh concluded proudly. In this sense, if Ngannou defeats ‘AJ’, he will compete for the Undisputed Heavyweight title in only his third boxing fight.
