When the Paul brothers Logan and Jake Paul announced that they would transition into boxing, the whole world was surprised. Many doubted them to be successful in their new endeavor, but they proved everyone wrong by making the sport more popular than ever.

The brothers were serious about competing in the sport and it showed as they trained with professional fighters like Vlad Panin and Lucas Ruiz to prepare. Moreover, there was a time when they even got UFC light-heavyweight and Middle-weight contender Sam Alvey to spar with them. On the MMA hour show hosted by Ariel Helwani, Alvey revealed the time he got invited by the Paul brothers to a sparring session. He stated that even though he liked Logan, he wasn’t much of a fan of Jake.

“Yeah this would have been 5 years ago 6 years ago like I ended up meeting their boxing coach standing in line for an MMA junkie award or something and his boxing trainer and I split messages and they brought me out to train for a day, so I got to spar with Logan Paul and it was a lot of fun.” He said.

However, Helwani saw through Alvey and asked him how he really felt about Jake. Alvey agreed with Helwani and sounded off on Jake and also revealed how he almost broke Logan’s jaw.

Alvey stated that he indeed did not like Jake, but found Logan ‘okay’. “Smile’N” then went on to reveal a sparring session with Logan where he almost broke his jaw.”He was a d*uche. Logan seemed okay, Logan, actually I almost broke his jaw in the sparring session. I was doing the best I could to just be a training partner for him throw some and he just kept getting hit and at one point he kind of fell back.” He said.

Lastly, he concluded by stating that Jake was also supposed to spar with him but refused. “I was supposed to spar his brother too, Jake. Jake wouldn’t do it afterward,” said Alvey.

It looks like The UFC contender was a little too much for Logan Paul to handle. Moreover, after watching Logan get thrashed by Alvey, Jake decided against getting in the ring with him. A wise decision indeed. However, this beef might not be over yet as Alvey is not under a contract with the UFC anymore. He has also called out The Problem Child on social media for a match.

Moreover, with Jake’s recent fight getting canceled, this could very well be a potential match in the future, given the history between the two.
