Undefeated lightweight Teofimo Lopez is gearing up for his upcoming battle against Vasiliy Lomachenko.

The lightweight thriller is predicted to happen by the end of this year, and Lopez is doing everything he can to continue his undefeated run. Although Lomachenko will be a hard-call in-ring, Lopez is billed to be the favorite in the odds.

Recently, a video surfaced on the internet where Lopez showcases his intense speed and reflexes, thus validating his supremacy.

Lopez (15-0, 12 KOs) possesses some serious speed. All he takes is one clean jab to plant his rivals on the mat. Thus, the recent clip can be quite alarming for his next opponent, Lomachenko.

Steve Kim took to Twitter and posted the video. Though Lopez touted his super-speed, he also left a stern message by the end.

“Loma (Lomachenko) I am coming for you, be ready,” said Lopez.

Vasiliy Lomachenko is yet to react to the post. Maybe ‘The Matrix’ is planning to respond in-ring. However, neither of the boxers will have an easy ride unless one of them gets fortunate with an early shot. If not, it can be a long night for the lightweight elites.

The title unification bout met with several snags on its way to fruition. After shifting umpteen dates, the bout has met with another misfortune.

As per reports by ESPN, Lopez is having a skirmish with the boxing promoters over pay-issues.

Lopez’s manager David McWater says that there’s not enough money for the boxers right now. Thus, they are unwilling to perform.

“Everybody is trying to do the right thing, but there doesn’t seem to be enough money for everybody. We were willing to take a haircut from what was expected before, but not one of the magnitude presented to us,” said McWater.

Amid all the turmoil, boxing fans desperately desire for the matchup to take place. Apart from being touted as an interesting battle, the fight is also a key-matchup for the division.

To settle all the doubts, Lopez and Lomachenko need to lock horns inside the ring soon.
