Recently, Paul interacted with Showtime Sports and responded to a question claiming he was crazy for accepting this bout. He said, “It’s a great question. Why would I do something like this? Yeah, I am crazy. You know life is short. I’ve been given one. I have a vessel that is primed to fight. And I work hard as s***. So when I was blessed with the opportunity to take everything away from Floyd, I said yeah, let’s do that.”
