Croatia has two hot prospects in Filip Hrgovic and Alen Babic. Although the heavyweight gladiators are new to the sport, they have already sent a stern message to the entire roster.

While they are still to taste defeat in their professional career, Babic and Hrgovic don’t seem to be interested in making friends in the sport. That said, the duo has also gone back and forth against each other, citing a matchup between them.

However, Hrgovic is still a lot of steps ahead of Babic with a world title on his waist and a pro record of 11 wins (9 KOs) with no loss. Meanwhile, Babic (4-0) is also creating an impact in the heavyweight division.

The duo has already tainted their relationship, and a matchup between them will be inevitable if they continue down this road.

Recently, the duo voiced their opinion and demeaned each other’s caliber. It makes sense since a matchup between them has already been touted.

Talking about their rivalry, Hrgovic said, “He (Babic) is not on my level. He struggled to become the amateur champion in Croatia, and he has been a bit disrespectful.”

He added, “Not some special message for him. Just stay busy, go to the gym, work on your technique because if you continue like this, you will never get a chance to even talk with me.”

However, Alen Babic didn’t take it lightly. He was clearly vexed by Hrgovic’s statement. In response, he said, “Well, I have got a chance to talk to him now. F*** you Hrgovic. I am gonna f*** you up.”

Taking it further, Babic added, “He (Hrgovic) is just like that. He is a bully. He is a classic bully, and I have been dealing with bullies my whole life, you know? And he is gonna get it.”
