Along with being an exceptional boxer, Deontay Wilder is also a caring father. Years ago, an internet troller said some inappropriate things about Wilder’s daughter, and the former heavyweight champion did something unbelievable that further garnered a lot of media attention.

Deontay Wilder recently appeared on ‘The Breakfast Club’, where he revealed what happened the time he lost his cool. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ explained, “He was writing to me and he was explaining about duct taping my daughter’s mouth and all these different things. I visualized her in the chair duct taped, you know, she crying for daddy. I went, my whole intention was to go kill him you know. I mean it wasn’t to box him, you know boxing was the thing to get it set up to do it. I mean I brought my gun and everything, I brought my camera guy, and I brought one of my brothers with me to this lovely event that we was about to have.”

Apparently, an internet troller named Charlie Zelenoff had called out Wilder in 2014, while also calling him several other things. He even made remarks about the boxer’s daughter Naieya, who was born with the ‘spina bifida’ medical issue. The Alabama fighter traveled to a gym in Los Angeles and pummelled Zelenoff while the troller ran for his life to escape Wilder’s beating.

Deontay Wilder could fight Tyson Fury if things fall into place 

Wilder and Tyson Fury have one of the most sensational rivalries of this era. The two have squared off inside the ring thrice in their careers until now. The first was a draw, while the other two fights ended with Fury emerging as the winner. However, following Wilder’s spectacular first-round knockout victory against Robert Helenius, new possibilities have arisen. 

Michael Benson recently wrote on Twitter, “The WBC are now expected to order Deontay Wilder vs Andy Ruiz Jr as a final eliminator to determine Tyson Fury’s next mandatory challenger for his WBC heavyweight world title.”

The possibility of a Wilder vs. Fury fight has already made fans go wild. However, only time will tell if fans get to see the two legends inside the ring again.
