‘I Can Become the Next Muhammad Ali’ – Jake Paul Stays Brutally Honest on His Boxing Run

One name from the boxing universe that has stirred the entire fight fraternity is the YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul. For the past 13 months, the Ohio native, knowingly or unknowingly, has hit the right chord in terms of connecting with a vast fan base. Moreover, he is only racing ahead with his antics and activities in the sport.

This weekend, Paul will lock horns with rival Tyron Woodley in a rematch. Hence, ‘The Problem Child’ is in the news for several interviews, media work, and more. Recently, Paul interacted with Marc Raimondi and gave an astonishing opinion about his boxing career. The 24-year-old compared himself to the GOAT Muhammad Ali.

He said, ”I’m 24 years old. I can take over the world. I can become the next Muhammad Ali at the rate this is going. What does [Tyron Woodley] have? He has nothing. I have a much bigger story here, a much greater presence and I’m doing something no one has ever done before.”

Last year, Jake Paul joined the revolution of celebrity fights. However, unlike other stars, he decided to move ahead on the pro-ride.

As a result, ‘The Problem Child’ kept an active stint throughout and he also escalated his career by fighting biggies of MMA in Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley. Until now, Jake Paul has succeeded in retaining his undefeated record. However, he will be in for a test against a fired-up Tyron Woodley on Saturday night.

What will a win over Tyron Woodley mean to Jake Paul?

Paul attained an SD win over ‘The Chosen One’ in his last outing. Yet, he failed to change fans’ perception of him, which was that of him being a casual celebrity boxer.

That said, Paul has a point to prove on Saturday night. If he claims a fiery win over the ex-UFC elite, needless to say, he will establish himself as a skilled pro-boxer. Hence, all eyes will be on Tampa to see how this event plays out.
