‘I Can Hurt Him’ – Rolando Romero Claims He’s a Harder Puncher Than Gervonta Davis

Three-weight champion Gervonta Davis might look invincible at this point, especially after his back-to-back stoppage wins. However, Rolando Romero doesn’t seem intimidated by Tank’s prowess. The 25-year-old, who sees himself as a better fighter than Davis, has vowed to vanquish him if they ever collide inside the ring.
Although the matchup is just a fantasy as of now, ‘Rolly’ still predicted an outcome to the intriguing collision and stunned several fans. In a chat with FightHype.com, Rolando Romero said, “I am the hardest puncher in the world under 147 lbs. So nobody can say s*** about it, you know. I can hurt him. Gervonta has power, he can crack, another thing. I can’t take that away from him. But like I said, I am a harder puncher. I am a harder puncher, I am longer, I am awkward.”

Akin to Davis, Rolando Romero is also an undefeated boxer with a record of 13-0, including 11 KOs. The stats put him on a similar level to Gervonta Davis. While Romero is yet to bag a world title, he has already made a massive noise in the combat world with his unprecedented prowess. Hence, the American boxer can rightly call out his compatriot in Gervonta Davis.

Per ‘TBE’, Gervonta Davis will compete against the fighters from PBC and Mayweather Promotions as of now. While it puts several fantasy fights into jeopardy, Davis vs Romero can still take place as the latter is under Mayweather Promotions.
