This past Saturday, KSI fought and defeated Joe Fournier on Misfist 007 card and the event was quite unique, to say the least. On the undercard, two YouTubers fought in an unrestricted weight class which took the fans by surprise. YouTuber “Boogie2988” weighed in at 391.6 lbs while his opponent, “WingsOfRedemption” weighed in at 404.3 lbs. The fight in itself was bizarre to witness, as it is rare for two boxers, who are well above 390 lbs, to compete in the ring.

Though, before their walk-in, another unexpected occurrence took place. American YouTuber, JiDion, sang the American national anthem. His performance was not received well by fans in attendance who ended up booing him and the same transpired on social media.

He made that evident via a Tweet in which he claimed that it was the worst rendition of the American national anthem. He stated, “Is this the worst rendition of the national anthem ever!? I say yes. Congrats”

Many fans were in agreement with Helwani and called the YouTuber out for a terrible performance. Here are a few intriguing fan reactions:

A fan is of the opinion that Helwani is no better singer than Jidion. He stated, This is how u sound when u sing btw”

While one fan was confused as to how he perceived the performance. He stated, I can’t decide if I’m humored or offended”

On the contrary, one fan was not dissatisfied with the performance and found it better than a few others. He stated, “At least he didn’t go crazy doing ranges he clearly couldn’t hit or messing around at end overdoing it. Those ones are the worst imo where they just go way over the top drawing it out.”

Along similar lines, one fan named Stefan stated that this is the first time he understood the wording of the anthem. He stated, “It’s actually kinda funny bc that’s probably the first rendition of the national anthem I’ve heard someone sing where I can actually understand all the lyrics”

Lastly, one fan thinks it is pretty bad but not the worst. He stated, “Lewis is still the all-time worst. I thought this was going to horrendous. It’s bad but I’ve heard worst”
