It’s been months since Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou went toe to toe in Riyad, Saudi Arabia. However, ‘The Predator’ doesn’t seem to be over the robbery most people claimed the decision was. So, the former UFC heavyweight champion made some spicy comments about Fury and the fight last year.

While appearing in the press conference before his fight against Anthony Joshua tonight, the Cameroonian claimed, “You step out of that ring. You better step five meters away before talking your s**t because if I lose it, you’re [going to] have a really bad time…” And, of course, this did not sit well with ‘The Gypsy King,’ who responded to Ngannou while appearing in an interview with Box Nation today!

Speaking to Fury, Umar from Box Nation quickly brought up Ngannou’s comment about him. In response, ‘The Gypsy King’ stated, “Let me tell you, if he comes outside for me, he won’t be walking away from it. And that’s a fact.” Fury even brought up his recent backstage scuffle with Ngannou, suggesting he would have dealt with Ngannou then and there if it wasn’t for Turki Alalshikh.

“The other night, when I told him straight. If I didn’t have as much respect as I do for His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, I’d have punched his c*** right in for him,” said Fury. He even suggested that it would have gotten him into serious trouble. “I’d have probably been on an attempted murder charge,” said Fury. That aside, what happened between Fury and Ngannou backstage?

In a recent pinch, Turki Alalshikh shared a picture with both Fury and Ngannou on X (formerly Twitter). However, according to Andy Lee, Joseph Parker’s trainer, more than a photo was taken. While appealing in an interview with iFL TV, Lee unraveled the conversation between Ngannou and Tyson Fury.

“Ngannou came in [the room], and Tyson pulled him straight away and said, ‘Hey you, you’ve been talking about me in interviews saying I’m a coward. You called me yellow-belly,’” said Lee. In response to Fury’s threats, Lee claimed, “Ngannou, in fairness, was quite calm and cool. He was like, ‘No, I didn’t say that.”

With that said, before Francis Ngannou can reignite the talks of fighting Tyson Fury, he has Anthony Joshua to worry about.
