“I Didn’t Get Knocked Out”: Andy Ruiz Has a Classy Response to Deontay Wilder’s Criticism

Andy Ruiz jr. offered his opinion on Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury 2 during an interview with PBC.
Ruiz made history by becoming the first boxer of Mexican heritage to become a heavyweight champion.
”The Destroyer” stated several positives about Tyson Fury ranging from his long reach and his combinations and his unpredictability. Ruiz was last seen in action in December losing to Anthony Joshua via a unanimous decision.
Andy Ruiz is having a tough year with the fighter currently without a trainer. Ruiz jr.seemed to have lost his way after his win over Joshua with the fighter weighing 280 pounds plus last time around. A growing attitude problem further strained relations with his coach with the two amicably splitting this year.

With the heavyweight division housing several top fighters a fight with Deontay would make sense.
Andy Ruiz Jr. vs Deontay Wilder?
Given that both fighters are coming off a loss this would be another mega-fight that could propel both fighters towards a title shot. Moreover, this is an interesting match up. Ruiz is used to being the underdog, his technical abilities, raw strength, and surprisingly fast movement makes him a formidable opponent. On the other hand, Deontay who is 5 inches taller and much lighter could annihilate Ruiz jr.
Besides that Deontay Wilder was eager to fight Andy Ruiz Jr when Ruiz won the titles from Anthony Joshua. However, Ruiz lost the rematch against Joshua, losing all these titles. After this loss, Wilder criticized Ruiz for not taking the rematch seriously after becoming a global superstar. Well, now Wilder has lost his first fight and Ruiz had a classy response to Wilder’s criticism.
