

Mike Tyson has been known to bring the best out of the guests on his podcast. Meanwhile, rapper Lil Nas X is known to be a considerably reserved individual. One thing that connected him to Tyson was that, just like ‘Iron’ Mike, he also had a difficult childhood. Especially after his parents divorced when he was six. In fact, Nas also opened up to many of Tyson’s hard-hitting questions.

Nas was a guest on the ‘Hotboxin with Mike Tyson‘ podcast hosted by Tyson himself. Moreover, DJ Whoo was also present as a co-host for the episode.
In conversation, Tyson asked Nas if he was ever homeless. Nas responded by saying, “I was never homeless. I didn’t have a home, really. But I was never homeless. Like I was bouncing to my sister’s house to my brother’s house.”

Hearing this, Tyson enquired about his siblings. And Nas mentioned that he has five brothers and that he is the youngest on both sides. It should be mentioned that Nas is reported to have two full brothers and six half-siblings. When asked if he was close to them, he responded saying, “Yeah, one of my brothers here right now. One of my cousins here right now. I’m pretty close to them. But it’s like, still kind of like, you know once you get to your adult lives. I feel like it’s not as close as when you were kids and stuff like that.”

But Nas added that he is not extremely close to anyone else but himself.

When Lil Nas X asked Mike Tyson if he was ‘anti-gay’
The same interview also saw Mike Tyson opening up about his thoughts on homosexuality. Lil Nas X took a leap of faith and asked Tyson if he was ever ‘anti-gay’.

Tyson responded by mentioning that he has spoken to great fighters who were gay. However, he added that he was guilty of making inconsiderate comments in the past. He further added that he has gay people in his family, including his sister, and that he loves them and would die for them.
