Recently, the YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul invited the British singer and member of the very famous boy band, One Direction, Liam Payne, to his podcast. Payne was extremely open and spoke about almost everything, including his beef with the Canadian pop star Justin Bieber.

The One Direction star shed light on how his online beef with Bieber began and what happened after that.
Liam Payne doesn’t think Justin Bieber is a smooth criminal
During the podcast, Logan Paul and others asked Payne what the deal was between him and Justin Bieber. The British singer replied that it started when he responded to a fan online when he was drunk.
The fan compared him with Bieber on Twitter to which Payen jokingly replied, “The only thing between me and him is that I haven’t been arrested so then it started some like beef thing between.”

However, he clarified that he was trying to offend the fan and not Bieber. Additionally, Payne confirmed that there was no animosity between them after speaking to each other during a show.

Furthermore, because he hasn’t been caught doing the same stuff as Bieber, Payne stated that “I’m a smooth criminal I don’t get arrested for anything.” Everyone present laughed at this remark, including Logan Paul and Mike Majlak.
Logan Paul asked Payne to fight Bieber
Given the beef between the two hugely popular singers, Paul proposed the interesting idea of them getting inside the squared circle and going head to head against each other. However, Payne responded by saying that it’s unlikely that Bieber will take the fight.
He said, “I don’t think he’d do it. I think he would be very skilled to do it.” When asked why he thinks the Canadian popstar won’t do it, Payne replied by saying “for the same reason I wouldn’t fight Trippy Redd, I’m not on his level.”
