Jake Paul and Tommy Fury are a month away from producing the most anticipated bout of their career. The duo agreed to square off in Madison Square Garden on 6 August. But it seems that their bout is destined to go through heavy turmoil. Earlier, when the pair agreed to meet in December 2021, Fury pulled out of the fight. The same threat again began haunting the Ohio-based boxer because of a video clip released by Fury’s father.

To make things clear, the Long Island actor took to a social media platform and wrote, “The fight is on. August 6th. Forget a team or any other bullshit. I don’t need anybody to help me lay you flat on that canvas. Oh, and thanks for finally signing the drug testing… you only agreed to it when you realised the fight was at risk – who needs who.”

He gave this update in response to Paul’s warning.

What did Jake Paul say in a response to John Fury’s video clip?

Recently, Big Fury uploaded a video asking ‘The Problem Child’ to set a different venue other than the USA so that he could join Tommy Fury. Notably, Fury’s passport has been suspended for the USA. Therefore, he could not join his son for the fight at Madison Square Garden.

He even put forth a proposal of taking less money for a fight in some other country. Claiming himself in charge of Tommy Fury’s fight, he announced that 6 August is nearly impossible.

This new build-up in the smooth-going process of the matchup tormented the 25-year-old boxer. Immediately, ‘The Problem Child’ recorded a warning message to his rival.

Reminding Fury of his recent event in the USA, Paul said, “When you fought Anthony Taylor in Cleveland, neither Tyson [Fury] or your dad were there with you in your U.S. debut. Now all of a sudden you need your team with you? That doesn’t make any f****** sense.”

He also put light on John Fury’s problem. He said, “Tommy, your dad has been banned from the United States for 15 years. You’ve known this the whole entire time. He’s a criminal. He’s not allowed in.”

As of now, Tommy Fury has confirmed that he will make it to the ring to send the latter on canvas. Hopefully, the fight will go through and the fans get to see some fireworks.
