“I Don’t Need To Fight UFC Guys”-Tyson Fury

Tyson Fury has revealed a cross over to MMA isn’t far fetched but he has some unfinished business in boxing. Fury revealed he has had plenty of talks with Dana White and once he ‘s done with boxing, he   could potentially compete in the heavyweight division.

“I’ve had plenty of conversations with Dana White about potentially having a fight with one of the guys. But, at the minute, I don’t need to fight UFC guys” said Fury on his Instagram live

Fury certainly doesn’t have to fight in the UFC as he has cemented his legacy in the boxing world. Fury has amassed an undefeated record (30-0-1) and is on course to unify all the belts in the division. Given the Gypsy King’s eccentric behavior a fight against a top heavyweight in the UFC will generate plenty of hype.

“I need to clear up some of my own stuff [in the boxing world]. There are a few guys that need to be fought in this era. I need to fight Wilder again. I’ve got to fight Joshua. I need to fight Dillian Whyte. Until then, I don’t need a fight with Francis Ngannou. I don’t need Stipe Miocic, Brock Lesnar, whoever. I don’t need these guys to fight in a crossover match right now. When I’m finished what I’m doing in my own career, we can look at something like that.” Said Fury on his Instagram live

Fury is approaching his trilogy bout against Deontay Wilder. Fury dominated Wilder in the rematch and sealed the victory in 7 rounds. There were talks of Wilder stepping-aside for Fury’s unification bout, however, those rumors have been squashed. Given that the Gypsy King has unfinished business in boxing, it’s unlikely he’ll be crossing over any time soon.
