Josh Frankham, a four-time national boxing champion, signed with Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions in April this year and will make his professional debut soon. In a recent interview, 20-year-old Frankham talked about a potential bout between his cousin, Tyson Fury, and Anthony Joshua.

When asked about his thoughts on the fight, Frankham said “No disrespect to [Anthony] Joshua, he’s probably a lovely fellow but I don’t see him beating Tyson at all, anyway, whether Tyson boxes him, does the same what he’s done to [Deontay] Wilder the other day, goes forward and pressure him. It’s gonna be a Fury win.”

On being asked if Fury disposes of Joshua off like Wilder, he said, “Depends on what he thinks. If Tyson [Fury] wants to go out there and play with him all night, it goes 12 rounds. But personally, I think it’s 6 rounds.”

Anthony Joshua (23-1, 21 KOs) is a two-time and current unified heavyweight champion. He previously held the titles from 2016 to 2019. He lost the belts in an upset loss to Andy Ruiz Jr. in 2019. However, he won them later that year. Joshua will face the IBF mandatory Kubrat Pulev by the end of this year.

Besides their size, these two heavyweights have nothing in common. While Joshua is a technically sound boxer, Fury is a swift, awkward and unpredictable type of fighter.

While Joshua mostly looks for the knockout, Fury is exceptionally quick for a heavyweight, especially of someone his size. The latter, as a result, looks to use his speed, footwork, and head movement to evade his opponent and hit from different angles.

Going into this fight, both the fighters will look to impose their gameplan on the other. We have seen Joshua struggle against shorter fighters, but we are yet to see him face an opponent who visibly bigger than him.

How will Anthony Joshua deal with Tyson Fury’s size and his style of fighting?
