Tommy Fury is berated by a former boxing champion about his potential in the sport of boxing. Though he did not claim that what Fury doing is wrong, he believes that Fury is missing what it takes to win a ‘British title’.

Fury certainly started his career with a lot of hopes. He was good, progress was fine, the British boxing was looking at him as the future champion, and why not? His elder brother Tyson Fury has already done it.

But the limelight he got made him a celebrity. He began acting and doing a lot of stuff apart from boxing, which indirectly had a profound impact on his abilities.

The Former WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew believes this. He highlighted the big transition Fury went through.

In the column for DAZN, he wrote, “After watching his first few fights and seeing how desperate he is to secure a fight with these YouTube guys, it’s clear to me that he’s not motivated by winning titles.”

Bellew continued, “It’s all about cashing out with fights against the likes of KSI and Jake Paul. To be fair to Tommy, it’s probably the best move considering his ability. I’ll go on record and say that I don’t think he has what it takes to win a British title.”
