The Heavyweight world champion, Oleksandr Usyk, is not only adored for his achievements but also for his behavior towards his rivals. He doesn’t open much in public, but now Usyk has some of his thoughts in an interview which made him almost break down.
While talking about the ongoing crisis in his native land and his rematch against Anthony Joshua, he opens up about his self-esteem within him in an interview with Blockasset.

Oleksandr Usyk was emotional on his return to serve his country and unite with his family. He talks about how he deals with arrogance to take control over him.
He says, “I am fighting arrogance all the time. I don’t think I have too high self-esteem. All that I do in the ring or in everyday life has one purpose. I want to honor our God, Jesus Christ. In addition, all that he gives me is that I represent my country. I love my native land and I am very glad that I represent it in the ring.”

He respects his country and is glad to represent Ukraine in boxing at an international level. Moreover, he gives his credit for success to God and has only one purpose in life which is to honor his God.

Oleksandr Usyk is a selfless person who seems to live for his people. All he cares is about the well-being of his family, and that was the reason he left for his country during the war crisis.
It was surprising to know that Usyk left his training to serve his country and unite with his family. Well, it was surprising but was not unexpected, as we have seen his generosity during his boxing career.
He fought 19 bouts in his career and is still the undefeated world champion. Reaching such a milestone he has been away from arrogance to pave in his mind.
On the other hand, we have seen him during the events of the matches where he hasn’t done much trash-talking about his opponent nor he has said much about them on his social media.
He always kept calm during the press conference and even in the match he hadn’t misbehaved like some other boxers.
Well, we will soon get to see him in action as he is preparing for his rematch against Anthony Joshua for defending his titles.
