‘Fearless’ Shakur Stevenson is aiming for the winner between Carl Frampton and Jamel Herring after he gets past Toka Kahn Clary this weekend.

Still unbeaten, Stevenson has already alarmed the featherweight division with his dominance and has held his hands on the WBO strap. He is the ultimate favorite for his next appearance and will seemingly bag another easy win for himself.

However, he doesn’t desire to wait long after the fight, keeping Frampton and Herring constant on his radar. If he gets the win against Toka Kahn, Stevenson predicts to appear in the ring by March again.

That said, he wants Frampton and Herring to finalize their fight dates soon. Well, Shakur Stevenson is quite confident about getting the fight and claims it to be the one he will get, not the one he just wants.

The 23-year-old connected with FightHype.com to talk about it and put on his verdict regarding the featherweight mix. He said, “Yeah, that’s the fight I am getting. It ain’t the fight that I want, it’s the fight that I am getting.

“So, hopefully, they hurry up with their dates and decide what they doing. So that way I could be back in March against the winner of that fight (Frampton vs Herring).”

Shakur Stevenson is ready for anybody

Meanwhile, Stevenson doesn’t have a priority in either of Frampton or Herring. Although he is rumored to be close with Herring, Stevenson is not ready to bring it inside the ring.

When asked whether he would prefer to fight the ‘Semper Fi’, Stevenson said, “I mean boxing is the business at the end of the day. I don’t look at nobody as friends. We get in the ring, I can’t…”

He added, “I gotta feed my family just as much as he got for his family so, I can’t look at it like, ‘Oh I am cool with Jamel’. No, that’s the enemy when we get in the ring.”

It’s clear that Stevenson is not making friends in the sport and he only envisions to be on the top. It is no surprise he is already an elite contender and has got a global fanbase.
