The highly anticipated trailer of Creed 3 was recently released, sending boxing fans into a frenzy. It has been an extension of boxing’s most popular movie franchise, ‘Rocky’ featuring Sylvester Stallone. Syl has been the star of ‘Rocky’ in all of its movies. However, he has also played a major role in the extension as well.

In Creed, Stallone becomes the trainer of the protagonist, Michael B. Jordan, guiding him through his journey to become a champion. However, it looks like ‘Rocky’ won’t be taking part in the third installment of the franchise, as he was nowhere to be found in the trailer.

Moreover, this resulted in fans calling out Jordan, who is also the director of the film for not including Stallone despite his ever-lasting impact on the franchise.

One fan expressed his disappointment in the trailer as he was expecting Stallone to appear following the ‘Rocky’ tune.

Another fan also pointed out that Stallone was missing from the trailer. Moreover, he added that a guy in a scene had similar vibes to Rocky 5.

One fan stated that he couldn’t bear Stallone being cut off from the film, which made him lose interest in the movie altogether.

Following this, one fan claimed that the movie would flop after people realize that ‘Rocky’ was not part of the film. However, it would do well among younger audiences who didn’t grow up watching the ‘Rocky’ franchise.

However, one fan felt that this would be a test of Jordan’s star power. He stated that it was now up to him to carry the movie.

Lastly, one fan wondered if Stallone died in the timeline. She also substantiated her claim, adding that a jump in the timeline could have proved this. However, she was intrigued to see what actually happened to Rocky.

The story of Creed 3 takes place years after Creed’s victory over Victor Drago and also features professional boxers like Canelo Alvarez and Tony Bellew. However, the fans feel that Stallone should not have been snubbed in favor of other stars as he was the one who made the franchise into the success it is.
