“I Just Fantasize About Blowing Somebody’s Brains Out So I Can Go to Prison For The Rest of My Life”: Mike Tyson Once Made Appalling Admission in ‘Undisputed Truth’

Former world heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, has often detailed his mental health struggles. And, his autobiography has been a window into many personal aspects of the champ’s life. In fact, Tyson even spoke about having dark and twisted thoughts in his head.

Tyson released his autobiography, ‘The Undisputed Truth,’ in 2013. Moreover, in the book, he detailed about feeling like his life is in shambles. However, there were a few intrusive thoughts he spoke about, which left fans rather concerned.

He said, “Sometimes I just fantasize about blowing somebody’s brains out so I can go to prison for the rest of my life.”

Additionally, he further mentioned, “Working on this book makes me think that my whole life has been a joke.”

Tyson also spoke about the anger he holds for his former promoter, Don King. He stated that it was a build-up of all the horrible things that King did to him over the years.

The hard-hitting words in the book also showed a side of Tyson that fans seldom got to see. He opened up as a wounded soul who wished to have people who understood him.

A rough childhood and the constant struggles of boxing superstardom took a toll on Mike Tyson. He also mentioned that he had a hard time dealing with the fame and power that came with his boxing stardom.

Tyson was hosting his podcast, where his therapist, Seano McFarland, had come as a guest. McFarland mentioned that despite Tyson’s tough exterior, he was a ‘scared little boy’ in public.

‘Iron’ Mike also mentioned that he had a hard time loving himself. And, that he had the misconception that loving himself meant buying expensive things. Tyson also mentioned that it was only later that he realized that loving himself was more about giving to others.
