‘I Just Want People to Like Me’: Logan Paul Explains Why He Retired His ‘Vlog Guy’ Character

Logan Paul ranks among the most prime YouTubers in the world at the moment. Alongside his YouTube career, Paul has chalked out a short yet stupendous boxing career, that’s helping him turn into a household name of boxing. However, ‘The Maverick’s original success came in with his YouTube career only, where he began as a vlogger.

Boasting millions of subscribers on his YouTube handle, Logan Paul still keeps his channel active. In fact, he even came up with a different channel for his podcasts, Impaulsive.

Recently, Logan Paul, in his latest podcast, spoke about why he wants people to like him, ‘vlog guy’, and more.

He said, ”I’m less and less enthusiastic about being someone else, and with that comes a departure from this character that I built that a lot of people think is kind of cool. A lot of people don’t f**k with them, right? And a lot of, a lot of people want that, that guy back, the vlog guy and a lot of people are glad he’s gone, but, you know again I’m maturing and I have this concern”

“Man, I just want people to like me, I want to be likable.” 

‘The Maverick’ traced a long pathway with his YouTube career itself. Starting off with his day-to-day life vlogs, Paul generated some sound attention around himself. Today, he has 23.2 million subscribers, with 721 videos uploaded on his own channel.

Vlogging was in trend for a while, but these days, fans like consuming podcasts of enormous celebrities. That said, even the Ohio native shifted his segment to the podcast side, wherein he got some terrific success.
