Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone has been the go-to man when it came to action and sports movies. The action star has featured in multiple blockbusters during his career as an actor including Rambo, The Expendables, and many more. However, his most iconic role will be in Rocky which is a franchise he has built on his back. Stallone wrote and played the role of the main character for the first five Rocky movies which swayed great box office as well as critical success.

This led to the mark of a new sequel in Creed which has followed the footsteps of Rocky quite impressively. Despite this, the latest edition of the franchise, Creed III, doesn’t feature ‘Sly’ who has been in some altercations with the filmmakers. Moreover, according to Michael B. Jordan, it was time to move on from Rocky and focus the story on the protagonist of this franchise Adonis Creed. Although Stallone holds no bad blood against Jordan, he revealed why he won’t watch Creed 3.

In an interview with Sirius XM, the interviewer asked Stallone if he will watch Creed III. To which, ‘Sly’ responded with just one word. “Never,” he said. However, he added that this was purely due to his relationship with the producers. “Michael B. Jordan nice guy. The studio is wonderful but it’s just the. It’s been such a rough emotional ride. It really has. Now if Michale B. Jordan comes up with a story I’ll do Creed 4 with him as long as the other fellas are not involved,” he added.

However, the fans were seemingly not on the same page as Stallone. The comments on the photo uploaded by a Facebook account named Popcorns, have been translated from French as it was the original language in which they were written.

Fans react to Sylvester Stallone saying he’ll never watch Creed 3

A user named Nicolas Hoff claimed that at the end of the second movie, Adonis would be moving ahead in his life without Rocky. “Movie not dark at all but oh well.. And the ending to Creed 2 was clear, Rocky tells Adonis it’s his turn,” he wrote.

Another user named William Jackson commented on the vein. “He didn’t mind how dark his character in Rambo was. Let him stop his movie for a while,” he wrote.

However, a user named Elliot Arnaud stated that he will never betray Stallone by watching Creed 3. “I will never watch Creed 3 because in my opinion, it’s a betrayal of Sylvester Stallone,” he wrote.

A user named Via Mathurin claimed that Stallone had some issues relating to movie rights. “It’s mostly a sous story huh. Stallone got blurred on movie rights and it’s enraging him (which is understandable),” they wrote.

Lastly, a user named Franck Freddy Mbianké stated that although he liked Sly he was now far beyond his prime as an actor. “I like you Stallone, but you’re ancient,” they wrote.
